DAY 19-22



The tunnels

 The last few days we have been going flat out. (As much as one can when you are on holidays).  Caught up with some friends from the Central Coast, had some time with Kellie & Gareth.  Had a look at the Museum, Aviation Museum (John did that one), went down the tunnels (where fuel was stored during W.W.ll, went around the wharf area, did the night markets at Mendil and was treated to an absolutely fabulous air display by the airforce at sunset.  Also went to the Palba Markets on Saturday (John was dragged along to those) Parliament House (I sat and read), out to Darwin's Wildlife Park, took in the sunset over the harbour while eating tea and did coffee on a number of occassions.  We also had a full day out at Leitchfield National Park which was great.
