ON TO DARWIN

DAY 18

Sights while travelling
Moving on to Darwin today, stopping at Pine Creek, then onto Adelaide River.  Decided to go the scenic route.  The road was all over the place.  Went past a little sign saying to Robin Falls.  John wanted to have a look, I wasnt keen because the road was very narrow and dirt. Needless to say we still went.  About 1 1/2 klm down the road we couldn't go any further as the van would have bottomed out, and of course there was not enough room to turn the van around.  By this time I am really stressed (no photo's).  John reversed the van with me walking behind the van so he didn't hit any trees, (you can all get the picture).  A little way back came across an area that we could turn.  When I opened the van up there was things everywhere.  Tea had spilt all over the place, elect kettle on the floor besides other things sprawled everywhere.  "Not Happy Jan".
Finally got into Darwin.

  1. Oh, the joys of caravanning! Now, Joyce, that's no reason NOT to take photos . . . so where are they? Especially that one of you as you open the van up to find mayhem!
